Parenting Your Elementary HiCap Student
Join us for a 6-session online discussion group with other parents of highly capable students to explore parenting strategies, share concerns, find community, and learn best practices. There will be weekly articles, podcasts and/or videos for you explore; we will spend the majority of the session in discussion and exchanging ideas between participants.
The group will be online and facilitated by local experts Dr. Austina De Bonte and Dr. Enyi Jen and is limited to families with highly capable identified elementary students.

$225/family (up to 2 parenting partners)
Over the six weeks of the group, we will cover the following topics:
- Gifted Basics & Asynchrony
- Twice Exceptional Students (2e) & Strength-Based Approaches
- Executive Function & Neurodiversity-Affirming Parenting
- Emotional Characteristics: Sensitivity, Intensity, Perfectionism
- Relationships: Friendships & Siblings
- Advocacy at School
