Youth Advisory Board

(YAB)

Do you already know about GEAC’s youth organization? YAB was founded in 2020 during the pandemic. This school year so far, the YAB team has already organized Book Clubs for middle and high schoolers, an online Bridge event, and recently led a very successful Choice School panel to help students make more informed decisions about their choice school lottery selection. We’re excited to see more of them in the coming months!

“Our mission is to to offer current and graduating Hi-Cap students the opportunity to develop leaderships skills through the organization of events for younger LWSD students as well as to enrich our community through engaging events for Hi-Cap students.”
